Greenways Foundation Announces 2022 Indiana Greenways Award Winners

The Greenways Foundation of Indiana is proud to announce the following recipients of the 2022 Indiana Greenways Awards:

• Outstanding Public Official: State Senator Dennis Kruse

• Outstanding Trail Advocate: Dr. Terry Gaff

• Outstanding Trail Group: Prairie Trails Club

• Outstanding Local Government: City of Fishers

• Outstanding Trail Project: Singing Sands Trail, Phases 1 & 2

• Outstanding Corporation: United Auto Workers Local #2209

• Diana M. Virgil Legacy Award: Bernie Dahl, Purdue University

The award winners were announced during the Greenways Foundation Annual Luncheon held in Carmel on April 26, 2022.

The Indiana Greenways Awards are presented to those individuals, organizations, communities, corporations and projects that have exhibited outstanding excellence in advancing greenways or multi-use trail development throughout Indiana.
